The Chicago Laryngological & Otological Society was founded in 1899. Now celebrating 120 years of service, it is dedicated providing excellent educational opportunities for Chicago area otolaryngologists - head and neck surgeons - while creating a collegial atmosphere for members of the profession.
The CL&O Society is an Illinois non-profit corporation recognized as a tax-exempt entity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The organization's activities is directed by the Council, and its administrative office is located in Vernon Hills, Illinois.
The objective of the Society is to promote the science and art of medicine as it applies to the field of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. It shall endeavor to bring together those physicians and colleagues in this locality who work in this field, and who otherwise qualify for membership as detailed below, in order to:
